What to do with old sneakers?

Recycling isn't bad thing its a good thing. So if at anyway possible we can recycle, then why the heck not? So here are some tips if you desire to go above and beyond of whats the norm.

Did you know that Nike accepts old sneakers of any brand and recycles them into basketball courts etc so children around the globe can use them. All you do is take them to a Nike store and tell them they are for the"Reuse-A-Shoe program"...actually they should already know what to do. Or check this website for locations: www.letmeplay.com/reuseashoe

Or mail them to:
Nike recycling center
c/o reuse-a-shoe
26755 sw 95th ave
wilsonville, or 97070
*************Many more...............................
Used Styrofoam peanuts???-- take them to a UPS store or Mail boxes Etc
Left over paint?---visit http://www.earth911.org/ to see if a program is in your area.
Printer ink cartridges? ---take em to Staples and get 3$ off yr next cartridge purchase. "Ink cartridges are like gas tanks, they don't break they just run out of gas." Jim cannan
Prescription drug leftovers???--- visit http://www.thestarfishproject.org/ they give them to clinics in Nigeria and send you a Fed ex label to ship in.
Plastic bottle caps??? Toss them. They are made differently than the bottle and therefore aren't reusable.

Great tips! Thanks. I had heard that about the bottle tops so I have been doing it but wasn't quite sure if I remembered right so now I'm glad that I have been removing them and I will have to tell Mark. Again, thanks.
