Great Tip!
Just use rice & some water, plug, and shake.
Okay wanna-be-greenie over here...yeah I sometimes try to be good at recycling my glass food jars(ex. spaghetti sauce jar) and so I'll try to scrub and wash it so I can put it in the bin. So I figure this would help it go faster and hopefully less contact within the ucky jar!

...use it to clean tottered rusty tools/garden tools.
Make Black tea like normal(as much as needed), cool, then place the necessaries into bucket/etc with tea and soak.
Let soak about 2-3 hours then(wearing gloves) scrub/wipe with cloth.

Great ways to clean "green"
" White Bread and Ketchup
Use white bread to: Dust an oil painting. Gently dab a slice of white bread over the surface to pick up dirt and grime.
Use ketchup to: Remove tarnish from copper and brass cookware. Squeeze ketchup onto a cloth and rub it on pots and pans. They should go back to their coppery color in minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry with a towel. "
