"..an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!"

A fun little reality...

Halloween(for general pop) means = Candy and treats
Higher amounts of Candy and treats quickly weakness your immune system
A weakened Immune system becomes more susceptible to viruses, colds, flu, swine flu, etc.
Having Viruses, colds, flu means = NOT FUN FOR ANYONE(yourself or one you care for or work place, etc)

Halloween sparks the beginning of the SICK season because most eat more sugar amounts in shorter periods of time while not eating right nor taking the vitamins needed to even the scales.

My equation for SICK season is this (Cold weather + Halloween/Holidays= Sick)

In Truth, the more you've been sick the easier it is for Immune system to recognize the illness. So being sick alot(ex. children) is a good thing in a way because the body now knows
how to fight it, but CAN it??? Even if you're not sick alot there are constant wars and battles being fought in our bodies daily and what better way to strengthen our forts walls than to have wellness shots. To everyone there own, when regarding Flu shot VS no Flu shot. But just as you should be taking your vitamins to boost your immune system why not include "wellness shots".

What is a Wellness shot and how would it benefit me?

" Wellness Shots- This is our alternative to the conventional flu shot and has become very popular at NNWC! This combination of anti-viral and immune boosting homeopathic remedies can be taken acutely to speed up the recovery time of any of the nasty viruses out there...or better yet for prevention, on a monthly basis during the cold & flu season! There are two versions available- in oral dosage form for kids or in shot form for adults (we add B12 for even more benefits in the shot form)."

When I heard this It sounded good to me and so I think I will partake and thought I'd pass along to anybody else interested. Thanks Sis for the info. And for you readers:

Blew, Baloo, Blue

Did you know that the color of blue creates feelings of: Protection, security, Order, peace, and Trust? Why do you think banks often go with the color blue...CHASE and Bank of America.

So Id been thinking about incorporating blue somewhere my future home. Now there are many different shades of blue and different ways to use them and different rooms to do that in. So heres what I gathered to help me: (from realsimple mag)

" Did you know there are "cool blues" and "warm blues"?

  • "Warm" represented by- Denim - Ocean Blue - Slate Blue(gray/blue)

  • "Cool" represented by - cobalt - turquoise - ice blue(like baby blue)

Warm blues contain hints of red. Color experts say they advance, or come toward you, so they help make a room feel cozier. Decorators often like warm blues in social spaces, like the living room, Kitchen, or Dining room.

Cool blues contain yellow in them and tend to recede, or back away, which can help a small space look bigger. Color experts explain that cool blues encourage calmness and focus(good for office). Sometimes cool blues can go a little further and be cold. But in a bathroom, where you want a crisp, clean vibe, that can be a good thing. "

Just One Meal

What if this Thanksgiving you didn't have any food to be thankful for? No juicy turkey, no gravy potatoes, no sweet yams, nor that mouth watering pie you've been salivating for. Can you imagine? Thanksgiving just wouldn't be the same. So for some this is the case. And my heart goes out to them in hopes that by my donation someone somewhere will have full belly on thanksgiving. The thought just brings a smile to my face.

I recieved a letter in the mail about providing food for the needy on thanksgiving. And all that they ask of me was to provide just $1.92. This amount will feed a hungry child, woman, or man. Just think if all of us just paid that small amount how much that would add up so quickly. So here is the information if you would like to donate.

donation facts:

$250 provides 130 meals

$100 provides 52 meals

$50 provides 26 meals

$25 provides 13 meals

I Hope everyone this thanksgiving will have something to be thankful for. For starters...I am thankful I was able to donate!

In the bedroom

...bedroom decor that is.

this little display would go lovely over my headboard.
Maybe someday...and if I do...I would put a frame around each one ...or perhaps one long frame.

got it from : http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28936876

cute tubby birdies

could put a little golden framed mirror inside this on a wall...

just the birds...I like them.

But you know what Im thinking? Im thinking i could save alot of money by :
finding a cute design/ pic of a bird
mirror it on to felt
and pin it to the walls

that way it gives depth, fussy-ness, and saves money while being cute.

creative juices are flowing.
