what does nail polish have to do with birth defects?

Its called DBP formula. That stands for dibutyl phthalate (DBP). This is found in nail polishes and other cosmetics. Its a chemical, a plasterizer, known to harm the male reproductive system causing defects, reduced sperm count, and can defect the structure of the "one eyed snake".( ah-hem, sry i do not like the "P" word, just my prefrence)...and also was found to cause developmental problems.

I was just about to put on my newly bought red nail polish when i read the top label saying

" New DBP Free Formula"

and wondered what that meant so i googled it.

Watch out next time when buying your nail polish...beware of the big word dibutyl phthalate in the lable.
